IPL (Intense Pulse Light) Hair Removal

IPL hair removal works by emitting pulses of intense light into the hair follicles. The light is absorbed by the pigment in the follicles + converted to heat. The heat then loosens the hair + disables the cells responsible for growing new hair.

While Pure + Simple's IPL Hair Removal has been proven to take less treatments, the number of treatments is very individual.

1. No Tanning - must wait 4 weeks
2. As a precaution, wait until giving Birth
3. No Medications that cause Photosensitivity.
4. Medical Conditions - ie. Herpes(Take medicine 1 day before and 3 days after), Seizures, Kidney Disease, and Diabetic (healing improperly)
5. During Cancer Treatments.
6. 4- 6 weeks after waxing.
7. 1-2 weeks after chemical peels.
8. Pain sensitivity around menstrual period.
9. No Retinoid cream 4 days before IPL and none until 4 days after.
